Description:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires the delivery of specialty gases for NOAA/NEFSC Laboratory at Milford, CT location for base year plus four option years, as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE. The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 325120 with a size standard of 1000 EMP. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04, effective January 30, 2022. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering past performance and price. RFQ is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Contracts Opportunities via SAM.gov website https://sam.gov/content/home. The solicitation number is 1333MF-22-Q-NFFM-0013; Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about March 29, 2022. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition)). All responsible small business concerns/sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
