Please refer to the attached PDF titled "ESE POD SG STEP 1 - A1.pdf". This partnership opportunity is in response to the anticipated NASA Announcement of Opportunity (AO) Earth System Explorer (ESE-1) element of the Earth Science Division’s (ESD) new Earth System Explorers (ESE) Program, which is expected to be released in July of 2022. NASA’s GSFC is developing a mission concept to be proposed for this AO. The partnership opportunity is being issued to select teaming partner(s) to provide SAR-instrumented spacecraft(s), which would include the necessary spacecraft integration, integration of the spacecraft to launch vehicle, operations for launch and early orbit commissioning, and science operations support for the lifetime of the mission. Only commercial US-based companies with demonstrated experience in designing, integrating and operating SAR-instrumented spacecraft will be considered for this partnership opportunity. See attached.
