Please see attached solicitation. Answer to questions: 1. Is this a new or follow-on contract? If a follow-on, who is/are the incumbent(s) and what is/are the contract #(s)? This is a new contract. 2. Is there an "Instructions to Offerors" regarding proposal submission requirements? Please see clause 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Products and Commercial Services, it is in the reference section of the clauses for this solicitation. Please see FAR.gov to review instructions as per 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Products and Commercial Services . 3. Per Schedule B, CLIN x002 Travel for IEST ISO Training, this may vary based on the type of Instructor Led training - Virtual of In-Person? Please advise as this could vary from Offeror to Offeror. This training will be in person instructor lead at a CCAD facility at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas. 4. Per 5.4.1 The contractor shall provide three (3) training sessions, per contract period of performance. - Is this 3 separate instances of all 3 courses(3x3)? Or one instance of each course (1x3)? All three(3) training courses will be scheduled during the same time period. Training courses are to be performed one after another during the same visit as per customer and contractor schedule. Addtional questions and answers 23 March 2022 1. Does the USG have tentative dates for the training that is to occur in the Base Year? No tentative dates as we do not know when contract will be awarded. 2. Will the training for each Option Year be scheduled around the same time (month)? Could be but is not a requirement. 3. Will the Instructor have access to CCAD facilities for the hands-on practical exercises? Yes If so, what level of access and please elaborate as these will take time to prepare and setup conditions. Set up the day before/the day after. - How to gown (would need some cleanroom garments) Ok - How to wipe down services (cleanroom wipes, cleanroom mops) Ok - testing a cleanroom (particle counters to monitor) Ok 4. How many people approximately will need to add these trainings? 3 students per year. 5. Does the facility have a conference room on-site to allow for all attendees along with AV equipment to project the trainings? Yes, if needed. If Offerors have a laptop - can it connect to the .mil domain? Or is there a computer/laptop onsite to load the course material in PPT via a thumb drive? Laptop could connect to roadrunner WIFI and directly to projector. 6. One of the instructors is not US borne. Will this affect clearance into the facility? We would have to submit both instructors to security. As long as they both pass, there should be no issues.
