NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE: The NAICS Code is 811310 -Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, NV contemplates awarding a single source purchase order as authorized by FAR 6.302-1 to Phillips Corporation, Federal Division for the Willis Mill and Lathe repair. Phillips Corporation, Federal Division, is the only Department of Defense (DoD) vendor authorized to sell / repair Willis machinery. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received electronically by 1:00PM PST, 28 January 2022 that are equivalent to the Phillips Corporation, Federal Division will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
