THE PURPOSE OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIAL QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (HUBZONE 8(a), 8(a), HUBZONE, SMALL, SMALL DISADVANTAGE AND LARGE BUSINESS) RELATIVE TO NAICS CODE 112990. RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS, SEE SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS BELOW. AFTER REVIEW OF THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE PUBLISHED IN SAM.GOV. RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ARE NOT ADEQUATE RESPONSES TO THE SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. ALL INTERESTED OFFERORS WILL HAVE TO RESPOND TO THE SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT IN ADDITION TO RESPONDING TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. 771ST Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (771 ESS) at Wright-Patterson AFB is seeking sources to provide Department of Defense wide requirement for Fully Trained Dogs (Patrol/Explosive and/or Patrol/Drug). Fully Trained Dogs (Patrol/Explosive and/or Patrol/Drug) is a DoD program that provides dogs to the 341s Training Squadron (341 TRS). The scope of this contract will be to provide Fully Trained Dogs (Patrol/Explosive and/or Patrol/Drug) IAW the attached draft document. **These performance objectives are for example only to allow contractors to have a basic idea of this requirement. A complete Statement of Work will accompany any solicitation in the future with the total requirements for this service. ** Responses to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, SAM Unique ID, Cage Code, size of business pursuant to North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) 112990, and must respond to the following questions: 1) Is your business a large or small business? 2) If small, what is the socio-economic status of your company? 3) What is the average number of untrained and fully trained dogs that you have in your inventory that are ready for sale? 4a) How long would it take for your company to provide five (5) fully trained dogs once medically pre-screened and approved for training? 4b) How long would it take for your company to provide ten (10) fully trained dogs once medically pre-screened and approved for training? 5a) How long would it take your company to present five (5) fully trained dogs candidates for medical prescreening (radiographs and medical records)? 5b) How long would it take your company to present ten (10) fully trained dogs candidates for medical prescreening (radiographs and medical records)?6) Do you have the capability to transport dogs to Lackland AFB, TX for qualification evaluation? 6) Provide a rough estimate price for a fully trained dog that is evaluated at the vendor’s site and includes shipping to Lackland AFB, TX. 7) Provide a rough estimate price for a fully trained dog that is evaluated at Lackland AFB, TX. 8) Does your company have past performance records and/or references for providing fully trained dogs to a federal or local Government agency? Interested businesses are required to submit a Statement of Capabilities (SOC) demonstrating: 1) Ability to provide fully trained dogs, description of past performance on previous Contracts, dollar value of each contract, number of employees for each, the types and range of skills of employees for each, and point of contact and telephone number of the Contracting activity for each contract. 2) A capability statement, including summary of relevant performance history (with points of contact and applicable telephone numbers, FAX numbers, addresses and email addresses, if available) within the past three years. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Responses must be received in writing no later than 1400 (2:00 P.M.) hrs Eastern Standard Time 10 June 22. Firms responding to this announcement which fail to provide all of the required information cannot be used to help the Government make the acquisition decisions which is the intent of this sources sought.
