REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY Repair: B-1 Flow Regulating Valve, NSN 4810-01-182-5863RK, Part Number: 5820123-102 & 5820123-101 Request For Information (RFI) Only. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The RFI respondees are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on sam.gov website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet 848th SCMG’s qualification requirements (RQR-848) to repair the B-1 Flow Regulating Valve, NSN 4810-01-182-5863RK. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not be determined. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment and services. The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor’s facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts. The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet 848th SCMG’s qualification requirements (RQR-848) to repair the B-1 Flow Regulating Valve listed below: NOUN NSN P/N Valve, Regulating, FL 4810-01-182-5863RK 5820123-102 & 5820123-101 This requirement is for repair services. The projected quantities will be Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) of 6 per year, five year firm fixed price requirement type contract with 1 basic year and 4 one-year options.
