Original Set Aside:

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to BAE Systems Land and Armaments L.P. of Minneapolis, MN without providing for full and open competition. Individual orders may be issued under this BOA to cover the provision of spare parts and engineering support for the MK 110 57mm Gun Mount. The proposed BOA is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to fulfill the requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to solicit from more than one source is solely within the discretion of the Government. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the prime contractor directly.
