Original Set Aside:

The purpose of amendment 0005 is to cancel this solicitation. Please attachment W911KF-21-R-0279 0005 for additional details. The purpose of amendment 0003 is to answer questions submitted by vendors and to remove two parts from the Attachment 0004 - Pricing Workbook. The purpose of this contract is to provide the Anniston Army Depot parts that are normally procured through required sources such as the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). In many instances, required sources cannot procure the parts as quickly as is needed in order to support the equipment and production lines at the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD). The goal of this contract is to establish a contract whereby parts can be procured quickly and cost effective than other sources. Additionally, the Government seeks to strike an effective balance between sourcing from the Contractor's supply chain and Government sources to achieve maximum efficiency in supply support for ANAD commensurate with asset investment. ANAD objective is to eliminate the release of systems without all items included and also eliminate production and maintenance line delays or stoppage due to material unavailability. This effort will be satisfied through a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The contract period of performance is a base year performance period plus four (4) option years.
