The purpose of this sources sought modification is to provide Q&A responses received by the Government after the Sources Sought was posted, as shown below. All other information and submission instructions from the Sources Sought Posting remain unchanged. Q&A Response for Sources Sought Industry Question One of the quantifiers for the “GPS Receiver software interfaces” states “Proprietary.” In order for us to provide an accurate technical response can you please identify what proprietary interfaces are being referred to/are under consideration? Government Response The intent with this spec is to identify which vendors have a software utility to communicate with GPS receivers to issue commands and log data. The data formats included should support both NMEA and IS-GPS-153 message standards, and include other message sets that may be proprietary to a receiver or set of receivers (i.e. Novatel message format for uBlox). Examples of GPS receivers currently identified are BAE NavStrike-M, SABR-M, and Raytheon HAMMER.
