The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Tangible Security, Inc., cage code 3BRB7, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b) for supplies in support of the Headquarters of the Department of the Army (HQDA) Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) G6. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office within five (5) days of this posting. Any capability statement submitted in response to this notice of intent to sole source shall be no more than three (3) pages, single-spaced, using Arial 12-point font and shall include a statement which proves how the company is set up to complete the necessary scope requirements and the specific tasks listed in the description paragraph below. The Government will not accept marketing materials or company brochures and is not interested in a response that cannot meet all requirements described within this notice. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Contract Specialist, Hunter Fettkether at hunter.j.fettkether.civ@army.mil and Procuring Contracting Officer, Stephanie Wilson at Stephanie.wilson35.civ@army.mil. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A description of the required services are as follows: DCS G6 requires a ProV enterprise software license and supporting maintenance to run on the Windows Domain Controllers to authenticate end-users logging in to local networks. Although the Government intends to negate a sole source procurement, it is within the Government's right to determine the appropriate contractual approach. Any capability statement sent in response to this Intent notice does not constitute a solicitation or contract in any capacity.
