COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the procedures contained in FAR Part 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is for the selected contractor to provide service(s) for Liquid Handling Robot (A) The solicitation number is 1050873 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (B) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) Number 2022-001 found on Acquisition.GOV | www.acquisition.gov. (C) This solicitation is issued as Unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 334516. (D) List CLINS, item descriptions, quantities and units of measure: 001 Liquid handling robot (E) Description/Statement of Work/Specification: -Compatible with 8-, 12-strip PCR tubes, and 96-, 384-well PCR plates -Can handle liquid volume between 0.5-10ul and 5-125ul (with different pipette heads) -Have 8- and 12-channels options for 8-, 12-strip PCR tubes and 96-well plates -Have 16-channels option for 384-well plates -Available for adding other pipetting channel/volume options for future needs -Pipettes can be used on the platform, or used as a handheld if needed -Can optimize tip immersion depths, pipetting position, angle and speed in order to dispense liquid volume as small as 1ul to destination plates in different formats -Pipette from precise position in-order to handle plates with very small wells (384-well plate up to 1536-well plate) -Footage no larger than 80 cm x 40 cm -110V power source -User friendly software for designing and editing pipetting program -Can design and edit pipetting program on computer (F) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance: Dates will be determined at award (G) FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. An offeror must state in their offer if they completed FAR 52.212-3 online and that is it up-to-date and valid. See the attached RFQ terms and conditions for more requirements. (J) FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Please see the attached RFQ terms and conditions for its Addendum. (K) FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, is incorporated and applies to this acquisition.
