Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with L1 Enterprises for full service and maintenance contract to cover our Heidelberg Spectralis OCT Equipment at Fayetteville VA Medical Center, located at 2300 Ramsey St, Fayetteville NC, 28301. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. L1 Enterprises is the only vendor with authorization to distribute these services, and there are no authorized service companies outside Heidelberg Engineering. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one-year base. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 with a business size standard of $20.5 million. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 12:00PM (EST) December 22, 2021. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to Amarlia Van Buren, Amarlia.vanburen@va.gov. Responses received will be reviewed however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
