THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to award asole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source. The referenced number is N6426722Q0219. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NAVSEA), Corona Division, 1999 Fourth St. Norco, CA 92860, intents to award a sole source purchase order for one (1) Multifunction Reference Thermometer Readout w/ Temperature Scanner Module 110V, one (1) D-sub Comm Cable, 33 ft for ADT286 scanner module, and one (1) Carrying Case for ADT286, (2) scanner modules and reference probe w/wheels NAVSEA, Corona Division, intents to make an award to Additel Corporation, 2900 Saturn Street #B Brea CA 92821,, as they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that can customize the production of the multifunction temp scanner system as required and deliver them within the required date. The products has been tested to satisfy the Agency’s requirement. In accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 5.207(c) (16) (ii), the proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent to award is not arequest for competitive quotation; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or a quotation that may be considered by the agency. Responses to this noticemust demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission or objective. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement basedupon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the action proposed in this announcement This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. This is not a solicitation.
