Original Set Aside:

The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with The University of Nebraska, 987835 Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE 68198-6810, is the sole source provider for the following Long Term Lodging requirements for NMCP residents due to the “Blue Light” emergency response and communication capability along with immediate contact information and response for any disruption within 200Meters of University of Nebraska Medical Center Emergency Department. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106 (b)(1)(i). This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Beta.SAM Website (https://beta.sam.gov/). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Beta.SAM site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 721310, the size standard is $7.5M. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by The University of Nebraska as they are the sole authority authorized to provide these services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 12:00 pm, EST, 22 Dec. 2020 by email to the attention of Luis Zeno, Contract Specialist, at luis.a.zeno-pimentel.civ@mail.mil . Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
