Original Set Aside:

The Louisville District intends to enter into a sole-source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a new sole-source procurement for a service contract with Climax Portable Machine Tools to rehab the Portable Wall Quoin Milling Machines. The Portable Wall Quoin Milling Machines are two custom-made one-off machines made for USACE Louisville District in 2009 to mill out worn lock embedded wall quoins during miter gate replacement projects. They require service for use an anticipated miter gate replacement project in FY22. This is a Notice of Intent and not a solicitation, proposals will not be accepted.
