This is a market research notice for Paintsville flapgates and sluicegates. See attachments for specifications. There are 10 gates on the project 9 flap gates and 1 sluice gate. Below is the gate schedule with gate sizes. East: 48” flapgate, storm outfall. 48”x48” sluicegate storm outfall. 4” x2 flapgate for landside seepage filter on storm inlet. West 18’ flapgate storm outfall. 24” x 2 flapgate storm outfall. 8” x 3 flapgate for sanitary sewer The purpose of this notice is to gather information to determine if Buy American Act compliant pumps are available domestically. For the purpose of responding to this RFI, FAR Clause 52.225-11 Buy American-Construction Materials under Trade Agreements applies. This is not a request for proposals. USACE is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. USACE is seeking sources that are capable of fulfilling USACE’s requirements. Participation in this Request for Information notice is voluntary, and respondents may choose to respond to all or any part of the requests. All costs associated with the preparation or submission of a response is the responsibility of the respondent. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this request for information. Any cost associated with a submission, therefore, is solely at the interested contractor’s expense. Respondents are requested to answer the following questions: 1. Do you supply or manufacture flapgates and sluicegates that meet the attached specifications? 2. In what country are these flapgates and sluicegates manufactured? 3. Can you provide a quote for flapgates and sluicegates that meet the required specifications? Respondents are requested to send their responses in an email titled "Paintsville flapgates and sluicegates" to the listed Points of Contact Not Later Than 10:00 AM Eastern Time on 10 February 2022.
