Description:
The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command Warren, on behalf of Close Combat Systems at US Army TACOM, Detroit Arsenal, MI, are currently seeking sources that have a mature (technology readiness level 7 or higher) shock tube initiation (STI) device that can be used with the Remote Activation Munition System (RAMS) to initiate in-line shock tube and are capable of manufacturing and supplying this system. Shock Tube Initiation (STI) device is an adapter to the Remote Activation Munition System (RAMS) M16, MK16 MOD 0, and M39 receivers; designed to take the electrical output of the receiver to mechanically initiate shock tube MDI items (M19, M21, M23), and their blasting caps attached to a charge or munition. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey.
