Are we replacing every valve shown on the map? Yes. When replacing the hydrants, are we using ductile iron or are we allowed to use blue pipe? (dr-18 c900) Replace with original pipe material--ductile iron. It also discusses leaving the ditch open, would we be able to leave a ditch open if we cover it with a steel plate? Yes. Are there any asphalt, concrete, or sidewalk surrounding the hydrants/bollards? There are no hydrants on concrete or any sidewalk.
