USAID anticipates developing a new global Anti-Corruption Program (Program). Building off of USAID’s extensive experience supporting investigative journalism and reporting, both at the bilateral and regional levels, the Program will empower local investigative journalists to identify and expose corruption across sectors, network and amplify their work with others around the world, disseminate data and publications for broader impact, and ensure operational sustainability. Through this Program, USAID will also fund journalist-led transnational partnerships of investigative reporters to leverage big data and data journalism and expose global corruption schemes and strategic corruption efforts by external actors.
