The 82d Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors capable of providing linemen climbing boots at Sheppard AFB, Texas. These safety boots must be Coyote Brown in color and meet all characteristics of the attached specifications sheet. Information sought by the Government includes: Company Information Company name Address Point of Contract Telephone and fax number E-mail address Web site (if applicable) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number Socio-Economic status (i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.) Boots Specification Sheet All interested sources should notify this office via electronic mail to Derrick Thomas at derrick.thomas.6@us.af.mil no later than 10 February 2022. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information, planning purposes, and market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. This sources sought is not set aside for small business, but will assist the contracting office in determining small business interest and capability for a total small business set aside, in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the future acquisition. No award will be made from this sources sought. The United States Air Force is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Any information provided is voluntary. Be advised the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this sources sought. All cost associated with this sources sought will be solely at the expense of the respondents. Additionally, all submissions become government property and will not be returned. No basis for a claim against the government shall arise as a result from a response to this sources sought.
