The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office is seeking contractor services to provide the BLM with a comprehensive, landscape level ethnographic study of the Tosawihi Quarries and the associated cultural use areas as defined by the Tribes who ascribe importance to the area. The Solicitation will include contract documents with details of the project when it is released. The vast majority of the proposed study area is within Elko County, with a small portion in the southwest of the study area being situated within Lander County, Nevada. Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage Rate Requirements are applicable to this project and the appropriate SCA Wage Decision(s) will be included in the solicitation. The BLM will issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation on/about June 2, 2022. The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation. The competitive solicitation, 140L3922R0011, will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541720, Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities, and the size standard is $22.00 (per the SBA¿s Table of Small Business Size Standards). A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically on/about June 2, 2022, at the SAM website located at www.sam.gov. Proposals will be due no later than June 17, 2022. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring www.sam.gov for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading a complete copy of the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered, and currently active, and complete the online Representations and Certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base via website: http://www.sam.gov. Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror(s).
