Original Set Aside:

The Defense Logistics Agency, Aviation Wing, Robins AFB, GA, will acquire NSN 6140-01-619-8889, Part Part Number LP33333, Storage Battery for the Global Hawk UAV. Drawings/Data are not available from the procuring activity. SPRWA1-22-R-0006 will be a written request for proposal for a firm-fixed price requirements contract for estimated quantity of 168 each over five one-year ordering periods. (Basic: 130 ea.; Ordering Period 1: 10 ea.; Ordering Period 2: 9 ea.; Ordering Period 3: 9 ea.; Ordering Period 4: 10 ea.) The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, EaglePicher Technologies, CAGE 81855, Joplin, MO, pursuant to 10 USC 23094(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Data is not available for this acquisition. However, all proposals received before closing date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. The solicitation for this requirement is estimated to be posted on 27 December 2021.
