The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Camp, Duluth, Minnesota, intends to award a sole source procurement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the Diocese of Duluth, 2830 East Fourth Street, Duluth, MN 55812-1501, for the provision of Catholic Priest Services at the Federal Prison Camp, Duluth, Minnesota. The Diocese of Duluth is the only known source available to provide these services. The period of performance for this procurement will be October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023 with four option year periods. The NAICS Code is 813110. This notice of intent in not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirement may provide written notification to the contracting officer by 12:00 PM CDT, June 10, 2022. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will meet the requirement in a satisfactory manner. Vendors must also provide references and show competition would be advantageous to the government. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone and Fax Number, Email Address, Business Size, and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Diocese of Duluth. Responses may be E-Mailed by the deadline stated above. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
