This is a Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation notice. The final solicitation package will follow. This opportunity is only available to Small Businesses. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge (CONWR) is seeking replacement of an existing boat ramp located at the Playport Marina in Marion, IL, located in Williamson County. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract and Award will be based on Best Value. The complete Solicitation will be posted to https://sam.gov/ under Contract Opportunities on or about November 22, 2021. Interested contractors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management, www.sam.gov) and complete Online Representations and Certifications. A pre-proposal site visit and instructions will be announced with the solicitation. The NAICS code is 238990 ¿ All Other Specialty Trade Contractors and the size standard is $16.50 million. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The work will commence within 15 days of Notice to Proceed and shall be completed by March 01, 2022.
